Terms of service
Last updated 31 August 2026
Prepared as a starting point and not yet reviewed by Lavanya Infotech’s counsel. Do not treat as final.
These terms
By placing an order or requesting a quote through this website you agree to these terms. The seller is Lavanya Infotech, trading as Black Cord.
Prices and quotes
Retail prices shown on product pages are inclusive of GST at the rate stated. Volume pricing at 50, 100 and 500 pieces is indicative and is confirmed on a written quote.
A quote is valid for the period stated on it, normally fifteen days, and is subject to stock remaining available. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance until we confirm your order.
We correct pricing errors. Where a price is obviously wrong we will contact you before proceeding, rather than fulfil or cancel silently.
Orders and payment
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed by our payment gateway and we send you an order confirmation. Approved dealer accounts may order on agreed credit terms instead.
Title in the goods passes on full payment. Risk passes on delivery, or on collection from our counter.
Delivery and collection
Stock shown as available is held at our Vishwas Nagar counter and can normally be collected the same working day. Delivery timescales are estimates and are quoted per order.
Warranty
Goods carry the manufacturer’s warranty for the period shown on the product page where one is stated. Warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage from incorrect voltage, incorrect installation, surge, water ingress or physical damage.
Claims require the original invoice. Replacement is subject to the manufacturer’s assessment.
Returns
Our shipping and returns page forms part of these terms.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contract, or costs arising from installation delay. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
